What Is EORI/VAT/TAX Number?
EORI Number ---- The number is called 'Economic Operators Registration and Identification number'. If you have an EORI number, your goods will be much easier to get through the custom. If you usually purchase from overseas, you are advised to apply an EORI number, which may make clearance easier.
In Romania, customs would ask for EORI number, commercial invoice, and company name if you purchase from us as a company. However, as individual, you need to offer CNP (Personal ID number) and you would be asked about the real value of your purchased goods and send proof for it, especially when you choose DHL as shipping method.
